We'll leave from your lodging and head east on Route 3. It's about a 30-minute drive to kilometer 20, where we'll start our hike.
We'll pass through peat bogs, streams, and centuries-old forests of lenga and coihue trees, and we'll have the chance to spot condors, foxes, and beavers.
When we arrive at Laguna Esmeralda, we'll take a break. Then we'll continue on our way uphill toward the Ojo del Albino Glacier.
Upon arrival, the glacier treats us to a breathtaking spectacle of ice and mountains.
We put on our crampons and began exploring the glacier.
We'll arrive at the valley overlook, where we'll have lunch while enjoying unparalleled views from high above.
The return trip follows the same trail back to the parking lot, where your transportation will be waiting for you.
