After touring the hotels, we headed east toward the city to reach the Escarpados Landmark, where we would begin our hike.
We will visit a cultural and provincial reserve called Playa Larga, located on the coast of the Beagle Channel.
We'll walk through cherry orchards, where the wind has shaped the trees into flag-like forms, and we'll see the famous calafate bushes and other plants typical of Tierra del Fuego's flora.
This area is also notable for the cultural legacy of our canoe-faring peoples: there are Yaghan archaeological sites dating back 6,000 years.
Finally, we'll reach the historic district of Estancia Túnel, which was once used for cattle ranching and later served as a sawmill and an oil barrel factory.
The return trip follows the same trail back to the parking lot, where your transportation will be waiting for you.
