Bike Safari – Wildlife and Steppe

We left the town of El Calafate in 4×4 vehicles, heading south through the Calafate Creek valley. After a 15-kilometer climb, we arrived at La Sección de Estancia 25 de Mayo, where our mountain bikes were waiting for us.

After the technical briefing, we set off on our bikes for a tour that will allow us to spot a wide variety of wildlife.

Traveling through the Guanacos Valley, with a breathtaking view of the Verlika and Baguales hills, we’ll arrive at a chenque (an ancient Tehuelche burial site), where we’ll stop to rest, rehydrate, and take in the vastness of Patagonia.

Finally, we return to La Estancia, where lunch awaits us before we head down to El Calafate in a 4×4 vehicle.
