We arrived at Tierra del Fuego National Park and headed to the starting point of our hike: the coastal trail.
This trail, which takes 3½ hours to hike, is without a doubt the most beautiful in the National Park, where we can admire an abundance of varied vegetation (lenga pines, ñire trees, coihue trees, orchids, cinnamon trees, and notros).
At the end of the trek, we’ll arrive at Lake Acigami or Roca, where we’ll enjoy a picnic that includes a selection of cheeses, salami, French fries, eggs, and soup, plus a delicious spring sandwich. Dessert and drinks are also included.
After lunch, we got ready for the canoe trip. We set out from Lake Acigami (also known as Lake Roca) and, after a technical briefing, began paddling toward the Lapataia River, with its calm, crystal-clear waters, crossing the green lagoon and the Ovando River until we reached Lapataia Bay.
In a truly rugged setting (where the ancient Yámana indigenous people once lived), we’ll enjoy a refreshing cup of coffee and the beautiful surroundings.
Once we finish paddling, we'll head back to Ushuaia.
