We set out from Ushuaia heading east on National Route 3 and then on Route “J” until we reached the Lasifashaj River.
Once we reach the river, and after a technical briefing, we'll begin our canoe trip toward the Beagle Channel.
Along the way, we'll get to see the local wildlife: a variety of seabirds and some sea lions.
Once the paddle is over, you’ll arrive at the Harberton Ranch to board a boat headed for Martillo Island. From the boat, you’ll be able to spot a colony of Papuan penguins and another of Magellanic penguins.
The motorboat ride then continues to the main attraction of the day: the enormous Gable Island, where we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch.
Then we'll set out on our hike. We'll explore this wonderful island on foot, where we'll enjoy incredible views. We'll also see artifacts left behind by the Yámana people and the first settlers.
After a two-hour hike, we returned to Puerto Harberton by Zodiac.
From here, we'll take the minibus to Ushuaia.
