We'll leave Ushuaia very early in the morning and head north on Route 3.
After driving along the shore of Lake Fagnano, we’ll continue on our way until we reach the turnoff for Secondary Route “A,” then head inland for more than 40 km toward the sea.
We'll arrive at Cabo San Pablo. We'll visit the authentic Estancia Pirinaica. With nearly 100 years of Patagonian farming history, it boasts wonderful facilities, which we'll get to explore.
We'll enjoy breakfast there. After a snack, we'll continue on to our next attraction, the San Pablo Lighthouse.
We’ll reach the top of the cape via a trail. Once at the top, you’ll find the old, leaning lighthouse, and off the coast, the rusted hull of the ship “Desdémona.” After finishing the walk to the lighthouse, we’ll head to the “Casa del Pescador” to sample the best dishes featuring “Róbalo,” a fresh local fish, served according to the fishermen’s family recipes.
You'll get to taste delicious smoked sea bass empanadas or seafood empanadas—the house specialty—as well as sea bass pizza, which is one-of-a-kind at the end of the world.
After lunch, as we listen to stories about this influential place, we'll go see the Desdemona, an icon of the region.
After this exciting day, we'll head back to Ushuaia, where we expect to arrive around 7 p.m.
