Escondido and Fagnano Lakes: Sunset 4×4 Off-Road Tour

We left the city and took National Route 3 north.

After crossing the Olivia River, we’ll drive along the slopes of the mountain of the same name to make our first stop at the Carbajal Valley overlook, where we’ll take in the vastness of the landscape, its terrain, and the glaciers in the background.

We continue along the route until we reach the Garibaldi Pass overlook. From there, we’ll head down the old Route 3, where we’ll enjoy a magnificent view of Lago Escondido.

Seguimos por la Ruta Nacional nº 3, donde podremos observar el antiguo aserradero “Lago Escondido” y el nacimiento del Río Milna. Luego de recorrer aproximadamente 2 km, llegamos a la primera tranquera donde comenzaremos el circuito “off road”, la que nos llevará hasta el ingreso del Puesto La Carmen, Estancia Los Álamos y al Lago Fagnano, donde tendrán tiempo para realizar algunas pequeñas caminatas por la costa y visitar una castorera activa.

Al regreso nos detendremos en el restaurante, inmerso en el medio de un lugar único, rodeado de naturaleza, para disfrutar de una reparadora cena.
