We'll leave from your lodging and head east on Route 3. It's about a 30-minute drive to kilometer 20.
We’ll start our hike from this point. It’s about a 10-kilometer one-way hike during which we’ll cross two completely different valleys. The first is the Tierra Mayor Valley, located at 250 meters above sea level, and the second is the Esmeralda River Valley.
Around noon, we'll arrive at Laguna Esmeralda. It's time for those unique, personal photos. A moment to contemplate and enjoy the natural beauty that the lagoon offers us.
Lunch will be ready to enjoy: a hearty sandwich and a hot beverage to warm you up. Each passenger’s meal will also include an almajor or similar treat and nuts to help you regain your energy along the way.
The return trip follows the same trail back to the parking lot, where your transportation will be waiting for you.
