We'll start the tour from your lodging, traveling along a stretch of National Route 3, crossing the Pipo River valley and the slopes of Mount Susana until we reach the Austral Fueguino Railway station.
After touring the central station facilities, those who wish to do so will have the opportunity to take a train ride. The train ride lasts one hour (ticket not included in the National Park admission fee).
Those who choose not to take the train ride will continue with our guide and the vehicle until we enter Tierra del Fuego National Park, heading to the “Park Station.” There, we’ll meet up with the passengers who DID take the train to continue visiting the park’s most attractive sites.
During the tour, we will visit Lake Acigami (also known as Lake Roca), Lapataia Bay (where National Route 3 ends), and Zaratiegui Cove, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the Beagle Channel and its mountainous islands.
We'll also be able to learn about the sub-Antarctic forest species that the national park preserves, where red foxes, guanacos, rabbits, beavers, and condors live side by side.
When we're done, we'll head back to the city.
Optional tour: Ride on the End of the World Train.
