"First Time on the Snow": Full Day of Skiing/Snowboarding at Cerro Martial

I had the most complete snow experience yet with the reopening of Cerro Martial this winter.

Your first time in the snow should be an unforgettable experience, which is why at Best Tour Patagonia we offer a full-day tour packed with adventure—perfect for those experiencing snow for the first time or who simply want to enjoy an all-inclusive day of skiing or snowboarding.

For this experience, we’ll pick you up around 8 a.m. to head up the Martial Mountain Range, a nature reserve just minutes from downtown that, as we make our way up, dazzles us with a breathtaking view of the city from the Andes Mountains themselves.

Once we arrive at the base, we'll try on our gear and meet our instructor, who will give us the basics for learning to ski.

The ticket for the chairlift is included so you can make the most of the experience, which will end with lunch at the base. And if you want to keep the fun going, they’ll lend you a sled to use in your free time.

• Be sure to wear warm, waterproof clothing: pants, a snow jacket, gloves, and a hat. You can rent these items downtown or at the base of the slope.
• Minimum age for this activity is 9 years old.
