City Tour – classic

We began by visiting La Misión neighborhood, where the Anglican priests settled, known as Misión Baja. Then we continue our tour to the CADIC traffic circle, where the Centro Austral de Investigaciones Científicas is located, and we go back along Prefectura Naval Avenue (coastal avenue), continuing along Perito Moreno Avenue, we pass in front of Paseo del Fuego Shopping Mall, an important commercial center of the city. Further on, we arrive at the industrial park, which began its activity in 1972 by means of law 19640, representing one of the main sources of income of the province. From there, we pass by the Rotonda del Indio, entrance to the city of Ushuaia, returning by Héroes de Malvinas street, we make a stop at the Mirador La Colina, one of the most impressive panoramic points of the city.

We continue our tour going up Alem Avenue until we reach the viewpoint of Las Hayas Hotel, another important panoramic point, which offers us excellent landscapes. Afterwards, we go down until we reach the Solier Neighborhood, where the Italian-Argentinean community is located. We go along 12 de Octubre Street until we get back to Prefectura Naval Avenue, which leads us to the old cemetery, where we will make a short historical review of the old settlers who rest in that place.

Then we arrive at San Martin street, the main avenue of the city, where you will find most of the restaurants and commercial premises. Then, we go to Deloqui Street where we can appreciate the houses of the old settlers. We continue to the traffic circle of the Maritime Museum and the Presidio and from there to the Museum of the End of the World, on Maipú Street, where the tour ends.
